A gorgeous 1847 O seated liberty half dollar graded AU 53 by NGC. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with some gorgeous colorful toning most notably throughout the obverse. A very appealing coin with it's blue and purple toning around most of the obverse rims and a light golden hue throughout both sides. This New Orleans Mint coin holds a mintage of 2,584,000.

However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 600 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 10 graded About Uncirculated 53 by NGC.
